How refinishing works
A lasting finish is mostly preparation. We assess the damage, carry out any body repair needed, then clean, sand and mask the area. Colour is matched to your vehicle and mixed in-house, sprayed in coats — primer, base and lacquer — and blended into the surrounding panels so there’s no visible edge. Finally it’s cured, polished and checked before it leaves us.
Colour-matching
Modern paint isn’t just one colour. Metallics and pearls shift in the light, and even the same code varies with age and weathering. We match to the vehicle in front of us, not just the code on paper — which is what makes a repair truly disappear.
Localised vs full-panel
Small, contained damage can often be fixed with a localised (SMART) repair — faster and cheaper. Larger or scattered damage is better done as a full panel to guarantee an even finish. We’ll always advise honestly which route makes sense for your vehicle and budget.
